Effective Date: June 10, 2026
This Credit Application Consent (the "Consent") is provided by you to Merk Digital Ltd., a British Columbia corporation doing business as Auto World Approvals (the "Company"), in connection with your submission of a vehicle financing pre-qualification request through the autoworldapprovals.ca platform (the "Platform"). It is intended to satisfy the express consent requirements of PIPEDA, BC PIPA, AB PIPA, and CASL.
1. Authorization to Collect and Use Personal Information
You expressly authorize the Company to collect, hold, use, and process the Personal Information you submit through the Platform for the purposes of: (a) assessing your eligibility for vehicle financing pre-qualification; (b) preparing and packaging your application for transmission to Dealer-Finance Partners; (c) communicating with you about your application and related offers; and (d) the additional purposes described in our Privacy Policy.
2. Authorization to Disclose to Dealer-Finance Partners
You expressly authorize the Company to disclose your Personal Information to one or more independent third-party lenders, automotive dealers, and finance intermediaries ("Dealer-Finance Partners") operating in British Columbia and Alberta for the purpose of evaluating and presenting financing offers to you. You acknowledge that each Dealer-Finance Partner will receive your Personal Information directly and will use, store and disclose it in accordance with its own privacy practices, over which the Company has no control.
3. Credit Inquiries
You acknowledge and agree that, in connection with the evaluation of your application, the Company and/or its Dealer-Finance Partners may perform a soft credit inquiry, which does not affect your credit score. You further acknowledge that a hard credit inquiry, which may temporarily affect your credit score, will only be performed if you separately and explicitly authorize a specific Dealer-Finance Partner to do so, typically as part of a final financing application.
4. Electronic Communications Consent (CASL)
You expressly consent to receive commercial electronic messages from the Company and its Dealer-Finance Partners by email, SMS/text message, push notification, and telephone (including auto-dialed and pre-recorded calls), at the contact information you provide, regarding your application, financing offers, account servicing, transactional matters, and related promotional communications. Standard message and data rates may apply. You may withdraw this consent for promotional communications at any time by following the unsubscribe instructions in any message or by contacting us at admin@autoworldapprovals.com. Withdrawal of consent for transactional communications may impair our ability to service your application.
5. Accuracy of Information
You represent and warrant that the information you provide is true, accurate, current and complete to the best of your knowledge, and that you have authority to provide it. You acknowledge that providing false, misleading or fraudulent information may result in denial of pre-qualification or financing, termination of access to the Platform, and may constitute a criminal offence under applicable law.
6. No Guarantee of Approval
You acknowledge that pre-qualification is not a guarantee of credit approval and that any financing offer is subject to the independent underwriting, verification and approval processes of the relevant Dealer-Finance Partner, including final documentation, security registration, insurance and other customary conditions.
7. Withdrawal of Consent
You may withdraw this Consent at any time, subject to legal and contractual restrictions and on reasonable notice, by contacting our Privacy Officer at admin@autoworldapprovals.com. Withdrawal will not affect any processing carried out prior to receipt of your withdrawal request, and may prevent us from completing your application or providing the Platform to you.
8. Acknowledgement
By submitting the application form on the Platform, you confirm that you have read and understood this Consent, the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use, and that you provide your express, informed and voluntary consent to the collection, use and disclosure of your Personal Information as described herein.
